Ms. Mobolawa Adio is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Research Associate at the Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST). In this role, she supports DEI FIRE Toolkit development, as well as research recruitment and retention efforts for the DEI Departmental Assessment.

In 2021 and 2022, Ms. Adio participated in the Firefighter Injury Research, Epidemiology, and Evaluation (FIRE) Fellowship, which ignited her passion for addressing workplace violence and promoting DEI within the fire and rescue service. These formative experiences led her to co-develop the DEI Departmental Assessment as part of her master's thesis, which she continues to support in her current role at the FIRST Center.

In addition to DEI, Ms. Adio's research interests include mobile integrated healthcare and violence prevention, with a focus on improving workplace safety and advancing equity in public health systems. Alongside her work at the FIRST Center, she serves as a Monitoring and Reporting Analyst at AccessMatters.

Ms. Adio received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2023 and a Master of Public Health in Community Health in Prevention with a minor in Health Economics in 2024, both from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health, as part of the accelerated BS/MPH program.
