Ms. Mobolawa Adio is the Project Manager of the Workforce Development & Work Environment portfolio at the Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST). In this role, she supports research, education, and practice initiatives surrounding recruitment and retention, community paramedicine, shift work, and more.
In 2021 and 2022, Ms. Adio participated in the Firefighter Injury Research, Epidemiology, and Evaluation (FIRE) Fellowship, which ignited her passion for addressing workplace violence and promoting workforce development within the fire and rescue service. These formative experiences led her to co-develop assessment and training components for the Workforce Development & Work Environment portfolio as part of her master's thesis, which she continues to support in her current role at the FIRST Center.
Additionally, Ms. Adio's research interests include mobile integrated healthcare and violence prevention, with a focus on improving workplace safety and advancing equity in public health systems. Alongside her work at the FIRST Center, she serves as a Monitoring and Reporting Analyst at AccessMatters.
Ms. Adio received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2023 and a Master of Public Health in Community Health in Prevention with a minor in Health Economics in 2024, both from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health, as part of the accelerated BS/MPH program.
